The Cold Stares
Blues rock pesado de Evansville, Indiana, nascido como duo de guitarra e bateria: Chris Tapp e Brian Mullins, amigos de juventude do Kentucky que se reencontraram num show de última hora. Sem baixista, Tapp engordou o som da guitarra para preencher o vazio, e assim gravaram quatro discos independentes antes de assinar com a Mascot Records em 2021 para Heavy Shoes. Voices, de 2023, trouxe o baixista Bryce Klueh e virou trio; Texas, de 2026, gravado em fita em Austin, é o quinto disco em cinco anos. Músicas deles já tocaram na ESPN e no game Cyberpunk 2077, e a banda abriu para Rival Sons e Larkin Poe.
