JJ Julius Son tem a voz que segura tudo — grave, rouca e capaz de subir ao falsete sem aviso. Way Down We Go, de 2015, virou trilha de série, filme e comercial, e colocou a banda em turnê mundial.
O segundo disco, Surface Sounds, confirmou que não era acaso. Tocaram no Lollapalooza Brasil. Banda de blues rock que cabe tanto num bar de estrada quanto num festival de 80 mil pessoas.
